Our training facilities are designed for adult education. There is plenty of free parking, large modern training rooms and most important; comfortable chairs and coffee. All our classes are kept small and informal with a knowledgeable volunteer staff that have years of dedication to both the Canadian Power & Sail Squadron (CPS) and the boating community. |

Prerequisite: None. Open to the general public. The Boating Course is the first in a series of courses to help you become a better and safer boater. It can save you money, pride and possibly your life! It includes the exam for the Canadian Coast Guard Pleasure Craft Operator Card (PCOC). *Cost includes CPS Membership for 1 year. **Cost includes CPS Family Membership for 1 year. | Maritime Radio(VHF) Prerequisite: None. Open to the general public. Learn the phonetic alphabet, as well as correct radiotelephone operation procedures.
