CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS
for
2012 BRIDGE MEMBERS

The Royal City Squadron year-end is coming up on us very quickly, and we have had a few officers indicate to me that they wish to stand down for the coming year. These officers have served the squadron very well over the years, not only with their positions, but also volunteering with social events.

Please help your Squadron by volunteering for one of the following open Bridge positions. Most of these officer positions will only take around 6 hours per month of your time.

Executive Officer, Secretary, Training Officer, Assistant Training Officer and PRO/Socials. Please email the Commander Alan Barlow at alan-susan@shaw if you are interested in applying for these positions. For more information on these positions, please follow the link to our Bridge page below.

The Bridge

Royal City Squadron is a unit of
Canadian Power & Sail Squadrons - Escadrilles canadiennes de plaisance
National Website: http://www.cps-ecp.ca

Canadian Power and Sail Squadrons(CPS) is a nationwide association of boating enthusiasts, dedicated to improving boating safety through training.

Each year, CPS members teach a variety of courses to concerned boaters in the general public across Canada. CPS is well known for its Boating Course, which is the primary course offered to the public. The Boating Course is just one of the many courses offered by Royal City Squadron.

See what Royal City Squadron has to offer! We have beginner and advanced Boating Courses, a newsletter, The Mainsheet which has the latest Commander's report, an Events Calendar so that you can see our upcoming events that we have planned, and our Ship's Stores so that you can order a sweat shirt or other regalia items if you like. We also have a knowledgeable volunteer staff that have years of dedication to both the Canadian Power & Sail Squadron (CPS) and the boating community.

Royal City Squadron is just one of the many squadrons comprising Pacific Mainland District, most of which are located in the Greater Vancouver area.

To locate squadrons in other areas of Canada, please see the CPS National web site.
